Workouts
There are three effective exercise systems for working out. Personal trainers, Gyms and working out
yourself at home. By far working out at
home is the hardest course to follow but there are some new exercise programs making it
a little easier to succeed. Here are my
key differences between the three options:
Personal Trainers
This is my number choice in workouts. The accountability that comes from having a
trained professional trainer measuring your body fat on a regular basis will help drive
you. The results that come from expert
guidance and focus are very hard to beat.

Gyms
For me the Gym is a great option once you know what you’re
doing, or following a workout program like Body for life
or if you work with someone
who can mentor you. Gyms offer a range
of equipment that most of us can never really expect to have in our homes. There are classes to help keep you motivated
and some even offer pools and basketball or racquetball courts to have
competitive sports. You also get the
benefit of community so you can try new things as you see other members having
success. Having a membership to a good
gym is a necessity once you are into a fitness lifestyle and understand what
you are doing with the equipment.
Workout at home
This is the most challenging of all the workout
options. Staying motivated is the
biggest issue in working out at home not to mention the interruptions of being
around family. Usually we don’t have
the range of equipment that a gym or personal training studio offers but there
are some great programs like the
p90x and the 10 minute trainer that
require minimal equipment. There are
some workouts available on the Internet too that also offer very aggressive
workouts with a reasonable amount of equipment like the 300. Click here for my
