Fitness Motivation
Fitness is not something you can do for a while and then
ignore. You have to make it a part of
your life, find a way to fit in to your busy day and have it become one of your
good habits. I take inspiration from
some of the quotes I’ve read, two of my
favorites are: “the difference between a
rut and a grave is the size of the whole”
from Body for life
book and the other is “when you look in the mirror
do you see the body you always wanted
”. For me motivation to become and stay
fit comes in many different forms.
When trying to lose weight or starting fitness program or
trying to reach a new level of fitness I strongly believe in working with a
personal trainer. Professional guidance
and knowledge are invaluable when it comes to achieving success. To get the details on my personal
experiences with personal trainers click here:
Personal Trainers
For me it’s important to be around the fitness
community. Watching other people gain in
strength and seeing how they use a certain piece of equipment.
Taking classes with other people interested
in fitness helps create relationships that lead to other paths in the fitness
area. Gyms are a great way to maintain
your fitness level and keep you interested in health and fitness.
A healthy fit body is more desirable to our partners and
also allows us to enjoy pleasure more. For guys the rule of thumb is that we
gain an inch (where it counts) for every 35 lbs of fat we lose. Of course
you had to have the inches to begin with. You’re not actually growing your
penis just uncovering it so don’t think
if you drop 250 lbs you can become the John Holmes of this decade. The thought
of increasing our pleasure and the pleasure of our partners should be a big
motivating factor. Go to Fitness and sex
for more details on this subject.
The key to longevity in anything we do is finding a way to
really enjoy it. Fitness is no
exception and there are some great ways to enjoy getting in shape and using a
body that you have made fit.
Group activities
As I said before I take classes at the gym. Spinning is something I really enjoy.
It helps me with my cycling (which is both fun and a challenge) and it
allows me to get competitive and have fun with other members in the spin
class. Boot camps are another way to
accomplish the same thing but may be even better because they get the entire
body involved.
Family activities
Do things with the family. My boys enjoy
paintball and we all do some kayaking in the summer. Finding fitness activities you and the whole
family can enjoy is great way to stay motivated. As your family becomes more
in tune with a fit lifestyle they will begin to focus on their diet too which also makes it
easier for you to stick to yours.
Challenge yourself
You’re working to create a new body and
develop fitness as a habit so you can enjoy life. Why not push yourself and put your new body
to good use. There are some fantastic events to benefit charities like the
MS150 bike ride
and there so many new contests like Body for life
and the 10 minute trainer that you can enter to
really show you how far you’ve come.
The reward that comes from completing a challenge is an incredible boost
to your self esteem and great motivation tool. See more ideas to keep fitness

Actually shape and build your body while adding strength
levels you never thought possible. Pushing more weight than you ever could as a kid
will get you excited. Here are my tips for gaining strength
